Well,,, When you've been around this business for as long as we have you get to know where the hard to get parts are. Matter of fact when we go searching through our "back 40", likely as not we will find the parts we are looking for.
Vintage parts are a funny thing. We have friends that hang onto old vintage parts just because of they believe that someday they'll need them. Kinda like the junk-drawer in the kitchen, full to the brim with stuff thats just too good to heave out even when you know that someday probably isn't going to happen in this lifetime. So who's going to use the parts. Well thats where we come in. most of these guys are great friends of ours and they just know that to release those parts to us is like promoting and furthering the fine art of restoration. Sorta like knowing your children are going to a safe fun place not to mention fair remuneration.
